Ten Shades of Green will travel to major cities in the United States, beginning Fall 2000.
An exhibition catalogue will be available June 2000. Richly illustrated with photographs and plans of all the buildings in the exhibition, the catalogue will also include an introductory essay by curator Peter Buchanan, descriptions of the 'ten shades,' and a bibliography of important resources about sustainable design.

Curator - PETER BUCHANAN
Guest curator Peter Buchanan is adept at conveying ideas and information in ways that are understandable to a wide audience. He is an architect, city planner, writer and critic who served as Deputy Editor of the Architectural Review (London) from 1983 to 1992. While at the Architectural Review, Mr. Buchanan edited, among other issues, the special centenary issue on Le Corbusier and edited and wrote virtually in their entirety two special issues each on Spain and the Netherlands and an issue on Northern Switzerland. He has published more than 800 articles in journals throughout the world, and contributed essays to numerous books and introductions to several catalogues and monographs. In 1992, Mr. Buchanan curated the Architectural League exhibition "Renzo Piano Building Workshop: Selected Projects," which engaged the audience by simulating Piano's design studio.
Exhibition designer - LEWIS.TSURUMAKI.LEWIS
The exhibition designer, Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis, is an architectural design and fabrication partnership composed of Paul Lewis, Marc Tsurumaki, and David J. Lewis, located in New York City. All three are graduates of Princeton University School of Architecture, and have worked together since 1992. An installation by Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis is currently on view in the National Design Triennial at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York City, an overview of the leading developments in American architecture and design. Their work is also represented in the Permanent Design Collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
